Founded in 2010 by Joseph Jubril Robinson and formally incorporated in 2021 alongside Co-founder Mrs. Isatou Bah Diouf, the organization has evolved into a leading digital-first enterprise driving innovation, research, and inclusive economic growth.

The company delivers integrated solutions across ICT mentorship, real estate development services, logistics, apprenticeship programs, research and development (R&D), and CSR consultancy. With a strong commitment to community development, Internet Village focuses on talent identification, education, and personal development, positioning itself as a hub for creativity, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.

Through targeted capacity-building initiatives, the organization addresses digital illiteracy and limited online access, particularly within underserved communities. Its programs have trained over 500 Gambians in renewable energy, ICT, vocational skills, entrepreneurship, and the creative industries—opening pathways to employment, remote work, and business development.

Internet Village continues to expand its impact through diversified revenue streams, including training services, digital platforms, subscriptions, product development, real estate solutions, and internet access services such as Starlink-powered WiXad connectivity.
