Gambian Youths Building a Cleaner, Greener, Working Nation
A youth-led movement for community development through Job Creation, Environmental Sanitation & Waste Management — achieving our shared vision by 2030.
Our Vision for 2030
To mobilize the energy, creativity, and determination of Gambian youths — led by the Doing Good Ambassadors — to build thriving communities where every young person has dignified work, every neighbourhood is clean and healthy, and waste is transformed into wealth. By 2030, we envision a Gambia where youth are the drivers of a circular green economy and the guardians of their communities' dignity.
Three Pillars of Action
How we turn vision into measurable community impact
Job Creation
Empowering youth with dignified livelihoods
We create sustainable employment through green enterprises, vocational training, waste-to-wealth businesses, and community-based cooperatives — turning idle hands into productive forces for national development.
- 10,000 green jobs created by 2030
- 500 youth-led micro-enterprises launched
- Vocational skills training in every region
- Cooperative savings & loan circles (Osusu)
Environmental Sanitation
Clean communities, healthy people
We mobilize youth brigades to lead community clean-up campaigns, public health education, and sanitation infrastructure — ensuring every Gambian community has access to a clean, safe, and dignified living environment.
- Monthly community clean-up exercises nationwide
- Public toilets & waste bins in 100 communities
- Sanitation hygiene education in schools
- Disease prevention through clean environments
Waste Management
From waste to wealth — circular economy in action
We transform waste into economic opportunity through recycling enterprises, composting for agriculture, upcycled crafts, and plastic-to-pavement innovation — proving that waste is not a problem but a resource waiting to be unlocked.
- Recycling hubs in all 7 regions of The Gambia
- Plastic, metal & organic waste recovery streams
- Compost for rural agriculture productivity
- Youth cooperatives earning from waste value chains
